Gill's Bar-B-Que open this week at 715 E. Court St. in a completely remodeled building of rustic decor featuring one of the largest antique auto tag collections in the world, plus old newspapers, pages and posters. The proprietors of the new business are Briggs and Carol Gilliam.
While featuring pit smoked barbecue of pork, beef and chicken in sandwiches and dinners, the business also offers country style breakfasts, a children's menu and old-fashioned ice cream treats.
The Gilliams have a long history in the barbecue business having operated businesses in Florida since the firms founding in 1952.
Pictured above (l to r) are Mr. and Mrs. Gilliam and son Briggs. Gill's Bar-B-Que will open from 6 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday.
